  • Ryan Chapman

    Founder

    Ryan Chapman is a successful entrepreneur and cattleman based out of Nashville, TN. Ryan is the owner of Chapman Land & Cattle, a Hereford cattle ranch committed to the highest standards of quality and integrity. Ryan's experience buying and selling cattle led him to recognize a need for a more efficient and mobile-friendly online auction solution. Ryan is excited to contribute to the growth of the agriculture industry through his commitment to innovation, customer service, and ethical business practices.

  • Cody Lowderman

    Co-Founder

    Cody Lowderman, a graduate of Black Hawk East Jr. College and Michigan State University, is an accomplished second-generation auctioneer. He has judged shows across the US and Canada and serves as an auctioneer for prominent seedstock operations. Alongside his brother Monte, they established Lowderman Auction Options, which merged with Sale Day in 2023. Cody is also an auctioneer for Ranch & Farm Auctions (a division of Whitetail Properties) a national leader in the real estate marketplace.

  • Monte Lowderman

    Co-Founder

    Second generation auctioneer, Monte Lowderman, is a co-founder of Sale Day. Monte has conducted over 10,000 auctions in the livestock, automobile and estate industries through both Lowderman Auction Company and Williams & Williams. A graduate of Missouri Auction School and Western Illinois University, Monte is active supporting the WIU Ag Department. He is a member of the National Auctioneers Association, American Hereford Association, American Angus Association, National Cattlemen’s Beef Association.

  • James Story

    CEO

    James Story oversees strategy and growth guidance for Sale Day with a particular focus on seller, bidder and buyer experience. James serves as a board member and advisor for multiple companies and brings his expertise to grow early stage companies. James is driven by a personal mission to inspire, empower, and make a positive impact in people's lives. Holding a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Mississippi, he resides in Signal Mountain, Tenn., with his wife and three daughters.

  • Cody Crum

    Shareholder and Advisor

    Cody Crum brings a wealth of expertise in running auctions and sale operations. In addition to Sale Day, Cody is heavily involved in Crum Cattle Company, his family's Hereford operation based in Ramsey, IL. After obtaining his degree from Northwestern (MN) College, he further honed his skills by graduating from the World Wide College of Auctioneering in 2011. Cody has working alongside the Lowdermans at Lowderman Auction Options, and transitioned with them to Sale Day. Cody leads the operations team and has been instrumental in guiding the development of the Sale Day platform.

  • Noah Benedict

    Sales Administrator

    Noah Benedict, a fifth-generation Hereford breeder from central Illinois, has been involved in the cattle industry his entire life. Growing up in a family dedicated to raising quality livestock, he developed a deep appreciation for the importance of breeding cattle that truly work for producers. Noah has served as a territory representative for the American Hereford Association and as chairman of the National Junior Hereford Association, experiences that gave him the opportunity to travel, connect with farmers, and support them in making profitable decisions for their operations.

    Alongside his fiancée, Kate, Noah has embraced agriculture as both a career and a way of life. He is passionate about helping farmers succeed by building honest relationships grounded in trust, shared goals, and faith.

  • Tommy Coley

    VP Sales & Marketing

    Tommy Coley brings decades of experience as a cattleman, sales manager, and industry leader. A third-generation Hereford breeder from Lafayette, TN, Coley studied Animal Science at the University of Tennessee, where he was active in 4-H, FFA, and the Junior Hereford Association. His career includes managing prominent operations such as Tree Fine Farm, Foreman Herefords, and Perks Ranch, where he oversaw successful sales and exhibited national champions. Alongside his wife, Kim, he co-founded Coley Cattle Company in Birmingham, IA, marketing Red Angus and Herefords nationwide. Most recently, Coley served as Southeast Regional Manager for the American Hereford Association, traveling extensively to assist breeders with sales, shows, and genetic selections. His leadership, relationship-driven approach, and lifetime in livestock production make him a trusted voice in the industry.

  • Clete Vanderburg

    Advisor

    Clete Vanderburg grew up on a family ranch in the northern TX panhandle, instilling a deep-rooted passion for livestock — specifically cattle and swine. With a robust background in competitive livestock judging, Vanderburg's experience spans from Clarendon College to West Texas A&M University. His journey continued with pivotal roles in organizations such as the USDA/NRCS and his family's Irish Black Cattle operation. He currently resides in Waco, TX with his wife, son and daughter. Vanderburg's commitment to quality and his dedication to mentorship have made him a respected figure in the industry.

  • John Thomas Woolfolk

    Director of Sales

    John Thomas Woolfolk, a native of Jackson, TN, has been deeply immersed in the world of cattle, particularly Herefords, throughout his entire life. With a family legacy spanning back to 1943 as reputable breeders, his expertise extends to genetics and the daily operations at Woolfolk Farms. Since November 2020, he has taken on the role of herd manager at Chapman Land and Cattle. Equipped with a bachelor's degree in agriculture business from the University of Tennessee at Martin, John Thomas also serves as the manager for Sales Consultants at Sale Day, showcasing his leadership and expertise in the industry.

  • Meredith Collins

    Ops & Admin Coordinator

    Meredith Collins, residing in Lewisburg, Tennessee, is deeply rooted in agriculture. With a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science and a minor in Mass Communications, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her role supporting the Sale Day team. With a rich background in Hereford and Angus cattle, she has been actively involved in her husband's family business, encompassing real estate, insurance, and auctions. Meredith serves as an advisor for the Tennessee Junior Hereford Association and holds various leadership positions within the agricultural community.

  • Kim Coley

    Customer Satisfaction Coordinator

    Kim Coley brings a lifelong commitment to service, operations, and the cattle industry. Originally from Rockford, IL, she studied at Rock Valley Junior College and Humber College in Toronto before building a career in customer service and technical support for major companies in the U.S. and Canada. After marrying her husband, Tommy, in 1998, she balanced raising their five children with helping manage Perks Ranch and later co-owning Coley Cattle Company in Birmingham, IA. There, she played a lead role in coordinating national sales and educational events. Since 2011, She has been a steadfast presence for southeastern cattle breeders, offering hands-on support and fostering strong relationships throughout the region. As Customer Satisfaction Coordinator for Sale Day, she combines her operational expertise with a personal touch to ensure every client interaction exceeds expectations.
